Feature Interview with Andrew Preston, Author of "Sword of the Spirit, Shield of Faith"

From the time of the Puritans to the present, there has never been a true separation of church and state. That’s what historian Andrew Preston found after examining the diplomatic record of American governments. He lays out the evidence in his book "Sword of the Spirit, Shield of Faith: Religion in American War and Diplomacy". The book is nominated for the Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction.
