Author Sylvia Smith: 1945 -2013

A review of the late Sylvia Smith's first memoir, "Misadventures", described her prose as "a cross between a police officer giving evidence in court and a slightly demented grandmother intent on telling you everything over a cup of tea." Sylvia Smith died on Saturday, in London. She was sixty-seven. Caroline Dawnay was Sylvia Smith's first agent.
