First published in 1972, the book has gone on to be a best seller many times over and even today it is still snatched from book store shelves. Cassie also turned her writing talents to penning a song of the same name. Her daughter Christine Brown wrote the music for the track. In 1982 Margo St. John released the song," Death On The Ice" on a 45 rpm record. Margo has now added nine more cuts to that early 7 inch vinyl and released the CD,"Death On The Ice". A number of those cuts were written by Christine Brown, like this one, "Out Of Touch"
