Day 6 | Mar 9, 2013 | 11:55
First man cured of HIV Timothy Brown and anti-AIDS activist Peter Staley
This week a Mississippi infant became the first child in the world to be functionally cured of HIV. Timothy Brown is the only other person known to have been cured of the disease. We talk to Brown about what it means to be a symbol of hope for millions. And Peter Staley, featured in the Oscar-nominated documentary How to Survive a Plague, tells Brent about his fight as an anti-AIDS activist.
