Senator Mobina Jaffer - The Role of Canadian Youth

Senator Mobina Jaffer has made Canadian history and used her role in the Senate to try to help women and immigrant communities, both here and abroad. In 2001, Senator Jaffer became the first Muslim to sit in the Canadian Senate, and is also the first African born Senator, and the first Senator of South-Asian descent. She's on PEI and will talk about the role of Canadian youth in these issues as part of UPEI's International Development Week.
