10 Years of Provocative Radio on The Current from CBC Radio 10 Year Anniversary: Robert Croke Update Sep 3, 2012 | 9:06Robert Croke's nightmare began when he was kidnapped from an oil rig off the shore of Nigeria. The kidnappers shot him and held him in captivity for 10 days. Shortly after Mr. Croke was released, he and his wife Gayle spoke with The Current in December of 2010. Since then, a lot has changed in Robert Croke's life. Despite the surgeries his wound hasn't healed very well and he suffers from post traumatic stress disorder. He has since filed a lawsuit against the company that hired him and the company that owned the oil rig. 10 Year Anniversary: Robert Croke update.
