Jonathan Butler - New book

Jonathan Butler is back with his second novel. Jonathan was here a couple years ago with The Return of the Native, a tale of a Newfoundlander coming home and confronting history in more ways than one. History also plays a role in Jonathan's new book, The Shah of Shea Heights. Family history. Jonathan tells the tale of Billy Tucker, a loquacious local thug, who tells us the tale that his father, an even more loquacious thug, tells him. Jonathan tells Mack what The Shah of Shea Heights is all about.

In 1982 Margo St. John released the song," Death On The Ice" on a 45 rpm record. Margo has now added nine more cuts to that early 7 inch vinyl and released the CD,"Death On The Ice". A number of those cuts were written by Christine Brown, like this one, "Out Of Touch"
