The Flood - Inside and Out

Not everyone left Nahanni Butte when the community was evacuated in June. About twenty people stayed behind to take care of the homes, the dogs, and try and keep the amount of damage to a minimum. George Tsetso was one of them. Band councillor Jayne Konisenta was one of the people who left. She worried and wondered about what was happening at home the entire time she was gone. Here, they remember what those three weeks were like - during the flood.
