Checking in on Thunderchild First Nation
It's been just over a week since a fire tore through a dormitory on the Thunderchild First Nation, leaving as many as 17 families without a home. Since then the band, governments and the red cross have been scrambling to keep these people housed and clothed. Many of those families are living in hotels. Rita Okanee's family is living in a hotel in St. Walburg. She tells Sheila about what her family has lost. That's followed by an interview with Aaron Ledoux, the Director of Public Works for the Thunderchild First Nation.
