National Park Volunteers
National parks and historic sites operated by Parks Canada are seeing reduced operations and job cuts due to federal spending cuts. Visitors to Kejimkujik, for instance, may be noticing a lack of winter camping and reduced access points to get into the park. Other parks in other places have turned to volunteers to help bolster services when the money's not there. We speak with Jonathan Gormley who runs volunteer services for Acadia National Park in Maine.
