A family of 3 in Hopedale lost everything in a weekend house fire... including their dog, Patch. Martha Winters-Abel is a relative.

Some say Innu have been in the area hunting since last week. With the most recent herd population numbers as low as twenty seven thousand, the Labrador Hunting and Fishing Association does not support any kind of hunt at this time.
