Heart Attack Survivor - Gordon Phillips

Warning to baby boomers: Change the way you live or suffer the consequences. The 2013 report card on the Health of Canadians says eighty per cent of Canadian boomers think their doctors would rate them as healthy. But most don't eat enough fruit and vegetables, more than half are inactive, one in 10 drinks heavily and one in five smokes. Although Gordon Phillips from Stanley Bridge doesn't fit that unhealthy profile, in fact, he's very fit... he did suffer a heart attack last year. Gordon went through the cardiac rehab program - Change of Heart - with flying colours and has made some lifestyle changes to avoid further heart issues. Gordon Phillips dropped by our studio to share his story.
