Georges Arsenault - Candlemas Day
A week from Saturday is February 2nd - a day for Puxatawney Phil and Wiarton Willie to shine on Groundhog Day. But for people of Acadian heritage it's a day of many other traditions as well. It's known as Candlemas Day. Historian and author Georges Arsenault has a new English translation of his book "Acadian Traditions on Candlemas Day: Candles, Pancakes, and House visits." He's giving a lecture this Sunday at the Acadian Museum.
