PEI drivers involved in collisions could soon see higher accident benefits. The province is considering doubling the so-called Section B benefits that cover extra medical and rehabilitation costs. Right now, the maximum a PEI driver can claim is $25-thousand over 4 years. The other two Maritime provinces have raised this cap to $50 thousand, and PEI is thinking of following suit.
