Fighting for a GSA

A gay student in Steinbach continues to fight for a gay-straight alliance club at his public school as opposition to Bill 18 continues in the community of Steinbach. Bill 18 is a proposed anti-bullying bill that would make it mandatory for school to support gay straight alliances if students want to start one. City council wants the antibullying law changed. Steinbach Christian School says it will erode the school's religious freedom. Marcy Markusa interviewed the student on Information Radio as part of our on-going coverage of this issue.
