Brownfields in a black mark in B.C.
B.C's brownfields. You've probably seen them -- wherever you are. Old gas stations that sit fenced off and unused. Industrial wasteland. These are known as brownfields. It's estimated there are as many as 6-thousand in the province. The mayor of Vanderhoof, Gerry Thiessen (TEE'-sen) has seen enough. He says its time companies were forced to clean them up. . And his community has come up with a resolution proposing just that. Mayor Thiessen is on the line now.
