That bill is now a law - it was passed in mid-December. But that hasn't stopped the movement. The protests are no longer just about Bill C-45, but also funding cuts to First Nations people in Canada and other pieces of federal legislation that native groups believe trample on their treaty rights. Pam Palmater is a spokesperson for the Idle No More movement.
