And for artist Charmaine Wheatley,
Her next big project will be formed out of the hides and racks of as many Newfoundland beasts as she can find.
Wheatley is originally from Nova Scotia and has called New York City home for over a decade.
But her mother is from Happy Adventure.
And she's currently living in Glovertown - which is where our Jessica Doria-Brown reached her.

Central Morning Artist Jean Claude Roy Sep 26, 2012 | 8:28French artist Jean Claude Roy first came to Newfoundland more than 40 years ago.
He instantly fell in love with the place, and the island's communities became a lifelong art project for him.
Now, he's finally published his book, featuring an original painting of every single community on the island.
The book is called "Fluctuat Nec Mergitur," a Latin phrase meaning "He who rises with the wave is not swallowed by it."
He says that's what Newfoundland means to him.
