A group of doctors from Northern Alberta says patients will suffer if the province re-routes medevac air ambulance flights from the Edmonton City Centre Airport. Dr Kerry Pawluski, from Edmonton, is leading the group. Emergency shelters were set up in many Southern Alberta towns yesterday, to help motorists stranded during a storm. Brad Mason helped coordinate the shelter in Nanton. Public sector unions in Alberta are warning against spending cuts in this week's provincial budget. Gil McGowan is President of the Alberta Federation of Labour. Heath groups in Alberta are calling for a ban on flavoured tobacco products.
