This is an urban district largely made up of the amalgamated town of Stratford, the third-largest community in the province (pop. 7,000). It's the fastest growing area of the province. Stratford's population grew 12.2 per cent between 2001-06.
A small part of the riding, formerly Glen Stewart-Bellevue Cove, was absorbed into Vernon River-Stratford for the 2006 redistribution.
