CHARLOTTETOWN-KINGS SQUARE (12)

Candidates:

PC: Bobby MacMillan
Liberal: Richard Brown
NDP: Kevin Roach

Current MLA: Bobby MacMillan (PC)

Riding Profile: One of two ridings that make up old Charlottetown. The eastern end of the old city contains the port and what were the rail yards, and has a more working-class history than other parts of the city.

The recent construction of Founders Hall extends the redevelopment of the waterfront well into this riding. The future of the port, as the federal government seeks to divest itself of it, is a big question for this riding and the province as a whole.
