| Candidates:
Current MLA: Pat Binns (PC), Premier, President of Executive Council, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs Riding Profile: The premier’s riding, on the south-eastern corner of P.E.I., is largely rural. The soil here is not particularly rich. More important than farming to the region is the lobster fishery out of Murray Harbour (pop. 357) and Murray River (pop. 435), and the lobster cannery at Graham Creek. The only tourism attraction of note is the provincial park and beach at Panmure Island.
