On who won the first leaders debate:

Wayne- "I'm surprised at how nervous Pat Binns was."
John - "Robert Ghiz had a fairly good performance."
Jack- "Robichaud was an absolute delight."

On the P.E.I. Federation of Agriculture's claim it should be compensated for land taken out of production for new environmental laws:

John- "If society wants to bring in new regulations, they should pay the farmers."
Wayne - "I don't think we should underestimate the clout of the farmers."
