Hi my name is David "Brett" Carlyle Robinson. I am very pleased to be this year’s Easter Seals Ambassador. I hope that my part can help Island children and adults with a difference of abilities. I love helping people! I have Cerebral Palsy am in a wheelchair and am a non-traditional communicator. I am very pleased to bring awareness to my communication device.
I attend Charlottetown Rural High School and am in Grade 10. My parents are Lynn and Dave from Mermaid, my older sister’s name is Jade. Family is very important to me. Jade helps me with my ongoing presentations on Disability Rights Issues. I have presented to Holland College Early Childhood Course, Human Services Course, Atlantic Occupational Therapists Conference, Eastern and Western School Boards.
It is a real honor to be Easter Seals Ambassador. It is a dream come true for me. My Motto is Think it....Dream it....Live it! I love to spend time with my friends and family, play my music, kayak, Special Olympics Bowling and ride the Island on the back of Dad’s motorcycle.
I have a lot of very special people in my life. I would like to thank Easter Seals, my community and the wonderful province of PEI for their support and encouragement. Easter Seals is a very worthwhile cause in providing children with opportunities in reaching their goals. Thank you.
