Submission Requirements

1. Photo (see photo guidelines)
2. Parent's contact information; this includes email AND phone number. Please also tell us the city in which you live (address is not necessary, but you may include it if you wish)
3. Child's name
4. How to pronounce your child's name
5. Answer the following questions:
   • What does your child share? Who does he/she share with?
   • Who or what does your child care about most? What does he/she do to show he/she cares?
   • What is your child learning?
   • How does your child help? Who does he/she help?
   • How does your child show co-operation? Who does he/she co-operate with?

Good news! We've made some changes to Kid Canada and we're now able to air every submission we receive*

*It takes about a month from the time we receive a submission to when it will be seen on air.

*Please know that Kid Canada segments are only open to young children who are Canadian residents.

*Help us ensure your submission makes it to air by sending a clear photo that meets the quality and positioning requirements (i.e not a profile shot). Please see Photo Guidelines above.

Disclaimer: If selected to be Kid Canada, you will be contacted with an air date and time and you can expect to see your Kid Canada segment in about a month. We cannot make, send, or sell copies of Kid Canada segments. Due to the number of Kid Canada segments shown, we do not have the facilities at our disposal to retrieve segments. In addition, copyright laws do not allow us the right to make copies of broadcast segments for distribution to the public.
