Obese kids' brains may respond more to food logos than normal weight children
Has your child ever asked you to buy food with branded packaging because it 'tastes' better? According to CBCNews.ca, a recent brain scanning study from the US may have then answer. When shown branded food labels, overweight children, especially, demonstrate more brain activity that triggers impulsive behavior in comparison to healthier weight children, leaving them even more vulnerable to the effects of food advertising.
