PEI's Michelle Bouey Heads Home

Well Oz fans, it was another exciting night here at Over the Rainbow.

The first tough decision was made when Toto candidate Riley was eliminated from the competition. Judges Colin Mochrie, Deb McGrath and Mike MacBeth sent the little West Highland Terrier running home, and now only nine remain.

Then, in honor of the great Kristin Chenoweth's visit to the show last week, our Dorothys  performed a knockout version of 'Defying Gravity' from Wicked - The Musical.

The time came to announce the results of Sunday's show, and once the anticipation was over, Charlottetown's darling Michelle Bouey was sent home.

The results came as a shock to judge Arlene Phillips - who admitted that she was surprised to see both Michelle and Jessie in last night's bottom two. But when it came down to the sing-off Arlene had to make a choice. She went with Jessie due to her strong acting abilities, but was quick to add that she was sorry to see Michelle go, particularly because she's such a talented triple-threat performer.

Michelle Bouey and Jessie Munro offer each other a little comfort after last night's results were announced.

Though teary-eyed, Michelle accepted the decision with a graceful smile and had the entire live audience captivated as she sang her way off-stage. We wish you the best Michelle!

Continue the walk down the yellow brick road with us next Sunday night at 8PM/830PM NT when our Top 8 Dorothys take the stage once again. Don't forget to play along with the show and make those votes count!
