Over the Rainbow Wrap Up - Episode 2

The Top 9 sing Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead.

Another performance episode is in the bag and what a night it was - we saw ballads, rock songs, classics, the addition of backup dancers, and lessons from an adored Broadway star, Kristin Chenoweth.

The Top 9 Dorothys kicked the show off with a gingham-clad rendition of Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead.

Colleen was the first solo performer, singing Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe', followed by Cassandra who sang 'Drops of Jupiter' by Train. Colleen may have broken a few hearts when she admitted to Kristin Chenoweth that she struggles with confidence - but you'd never tell based on her performance last night.

Julia performed Demi Lovato's 'Give Your Heart A Break' and Danielle took the house down with a rendition of 'There You'll Be' by Faith Hill.

Jennifer sang the heart-wrenching 'I'll Stand By You', before we changed pace with Stephanie's powerful cover of David Guetta's 'Titanium'.

Jessie took the stage performing Katy Perry's hit, 'Firework'. Jessie got full marks for acting and presence but the judges encouraged her to work on movement and fluidity. AJ then mesmerized the audience with Sarah McLachlan's 'Angel'.

Michelle Bouey from Charlettetown, PEI, closed the night with a lovely version of 'When You Believe' by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.

We saw some truly amazing performances all around, but by the end of tonight's results show one more Dorothy will be heading home.

Find out who it is tonight at 8PM/8:30PM NT on CBC.
