World in One City sambas its way to Brazil

This week for our weekly food series - the World In One City - we're going to Brazil via Britannia.

Specifically, the home of Laura Barreto and Alan Young. The couple first met at a conference on environmental and mining issues in Uruguay. 

Allan grew up in Bell's Corners.

And Laura was born in Mozambique, grew up in Portugal - but then spent nearly 20 years in Brazil. 

And it's from that country she decided to choose a dish to cook from.

To illustrate her love for food - she started out by taking me on a tour of their backyard garden.
