Musical performance by exciting young Brazilian singer/songwriter Rommel Ribeiro, nominated by Radio-Canada for its "Revelation 2012-13" award.  Ribeiro was the opening act for Brazil legend Gilberto Gil in his recent appearance in Canada.
Professional salsa dancers will perform and then invite the audience to participate in a class to learn a few basic steps.
Not your usual rubber chicken fare. The buffet dinner features Caribbean and Latin American cuisine. The embassies of Peru, Guatemala and Haiti will also donate typical appetizers from their respective countries. Only $60 a ticket! (**ONLY ADV TICKETS, NO DOOR)
