The Weekender - Info on Cultural Festivals
You can travel the world without leaving the city this weekend. Three cultural festivals are happening across town. Here's info on all of them, from the festival organizers:
The Ottawa Egyptian Festival will be held at St. Mary Coptic Christian Church in Nepean.
Among the attractions: A photo booth where you can try on the festival's version of ancient Egyptian garb.
Nardine Roufaiel (left) will manage the photo booth.
Starts tonight. Runs until Sunday, July 21, 2013.
This is the twenty-third year of The Ottawa Lebanese Festival.
George Hannah (right) is the head organizer.

And seven years ago he and some friends started Festival Haiti.
It's happening on Petrie Island.
