Worries over the safety of federal buildings
Four years ago, a boiler exploded at a steam plant near the Supreme Court. One man died. Two others were injured. And a Government of Canada department pleaded guilty to three charges. Palmerino Derosa says he wasn't surprised by the explosion. He used to work for Public Works, as a plumber. And he says he witnessed many unsafe practises during his time as a federal government employee. He told the CBC's Julie Ireton his story.
