Local family's billion dollar land claim

Elise Hallewick admits she was dubious when she first heard the Hanna family's story.
They turned up on her doorstep, armed with bags of old documents.
But when Elise Hallewick began to sift through it all......she started to believe the tall tale.
The Hannas say 300 acres of land was wrongly taken from them, in Munster - southwest of Ottawa.... more than sixty years ago.
Now, they're about to seek compensation from the province for the land.
Elise is the lawyer representing the family and she spoke with Amanda this morning.
