Does more c-sections mean greater choice or less safety for women?
That's the debate a gynecologist in Calgary has waded into with a new book.
Dr Magnus Murphy says he's concerned about the damaging effects of some vaginal births. He argues that elective c-sections should be more of an option for pregnant women.
Betty-Anne Davis is a Midwife and an Adjunct Professor of Womens Studies at Carleton University.
