Community Cup

The CBC Ottawa Soccer team made a valiant debut at Community Cup on Sunday, June 26. Although the team experienced few wins (none, actually), they came in third place out of 24 teams for having the most spirit. Go team!

Community Cup is a co-ed soccer tournament that brings together long-time city residents with newcomers from around the world. In addition to soccer,the day featured some great live music, sport demonstrations and activities for the kids. For more information about this event, visit www.communitycup.ca .

The CBC Ottawa soccer team would like to thank all of its fans for coming out to cheer them on. Special mentions to Payton, and Omar's mom. Training for next year's tournament will start immediately (once the bruises heal and Lucy stops limping).
