Bias and Belonging: Being Muslim In Ottawa

Ottawa has never had a conversation like this before.

On Tuesday, March 15, CBC Ottawa will hold a special town hall event called Bias and Belonging - a discussion on being Muslim in Ottawa. Lucy van Oldenbarneveld will moderate a provocative discussion with four people from the local Muslim community.

Leading up to the event, tune in to CBC Radio One (91.5 FM) and CBC News Ottawa at 5, 5:30 & 6 (CBC TV) for stories that examine what it's like to be Muslim in Ottawa.

Clips from this event will air on Wednesday, March 16 on:

- Ottawa Morning, with host Kathleen Petty, between 5:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. on CBC Radio One 91.5 FM

- All in a Day, with host Alan Neal, between 3 and 6 p.m. on CBC Radio One 91.5 FM

- CBC News Ottawa at 5, 5:30 & 6, with hosts Lucy van Oldenbarneveld and Adrian Harewood, on CBC TV.
