Prairie Scene

Between April 26 and May 8, 2011 500 Manitoba and Saskatchewan artisits will perform in the national spotlight on the stages of Ottawa/Gatineau. Festival headliners include: Bachman Turner Overdrive, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Colin James and Brent Butt.

Since 2003, the Scene projects have been working towards putting a cultural spotlight on different regions in the country. They have now showcased so much of what Canada has to offer in music, art, theatre and dance.

When the scene hits, local Ottawa audience can tune in to CBC Radio One 91.5 FM, CBC Radio 2 103.3 FM and CBC Television for coverage of this event.
