CBC Ottawa's Share Central

We are constantly reminded of what a wonderful audience we have - and the past few days have been no exception. CBC Ottawa's annual fundraiser, Share Central, has raised $44,747 and counting for The Ottawa Youth Services Bureau and Causeway. CBC Ottawa would like to thank all of the generous folks out there who helped to make this year's event a giant success.

THIS YEAR'S SHARE CENTRAL CHARITIES

OTTAWA YOUTH SERVICES BUREAU
Featured on Ottawa Morning, which airs weekdays on CBC Radio One (91.5 FM), 5:30-8:30 a.m.

The Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa (YSB) has over 350 professionals working from 20 locations across the city to deliver programs and services that support at-risk youth and their families. YSB works in the areas of mental health, youth justice, housing, health, street-involved youth and employment. YSB helps young people who reach out to find support, a respectful listener or a safe place.

 

CAUSEWAY WORK CENTRE
Featured on All in a Day, which airs weekdays on CBC Radio One (91.5 FM) 3 - 6 p.m.
The Causeway Work Centre provides pre-employment and employment services to anyone in the community who faces significant barriers to employment. Causeway offers 10 pre-employment programs, as well as three Social Enterprises: Krackers Katering, Cycle Salvation and Good Nature Groundskeeping.
