Thanks so much to everyone who attended CBC Ottawa's Open House on Saturday, September 25, 2010 as part of Culture Days. Nearly 2000 people came out for tours of our newsroom and to see the live performances on Sparks Street.

CBC Ottawa Welcomes Canada's Newest Citizens
51 people from 29 different countries were granted Canadian citizenship today at Ridgemont High School. The ceremony was hosted by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, in partnership with CBC Ottawa.

CBC Stars a Hit at the Rideau Centre!
If you were anywhere near the Eaton Court at the Rideau Centre this past Saturday, you would have noticed that it wasn't a typical day at the mall. Hundreds of people lined up to meet some of their favourite stars of CBC Radio and television.
Ottawa Morning Says Goodbye to the Stu-Manchu
It seemed only fitting that Ottawa's most successful Movember Moustache had such a high-profile farewell. On the morning of December 1, a bright red barber shop chair was rolled into studio 12 for the big reveal of Stu's upper lip. Stu's stache raised just over $10,000 for Prostate Cancer Canada. Thank you so much to all of the generous Ottawa Morning listeners out there who contributed to this cause.

Ottawa Morning Oatmeal Contest
Three members of our audience came in to Studio 12 this morning with their own versions of this morning delicacy. Each dish was judged by a celebrity panel that consisted of Sens Captain Daniel Alfredsson, Sheraton Executive Chef Russell Weir, and Ottawa Foodie Simmi Dixit.
