Theatre

David Lennam  - is a writer, producer, and television host from Victoria. Additional to his regular reviews On The Island, David writes about business matters for Douglas Magazine and reports on the arts for Shaw T.V.

Monica Prendergast  - completed both her Master's and PhD programs at the University of Victoria in interdisciplinary studies (theatre and education). In addition to teaching applied theatre at UVIC, Monica also a practicing actor and director who developed and taught the youth audience education program Belfry 101 at Victoria's Belfry Theatre from 1999 to 2006.


Gardening

Michael Cowan - is an gardener and landscaper in Victoria. He owns Edibella Organic Landscaping  and is a member of SOUL (Society of Organic Urban Land care professionals).


Political Panel

Bob Plecas - Is a consultant and former deputy minister in several BC governments and ministries.

Elizabeth Cull - The longest-serving member of On the Island's political panel, Elizabeth is a former public servant, MLA, Cabinet Minister in the NDP Government of the 1990's, and Chief of Staff to Premier Ujjal Dosanjh. A community planner by education, Elizabeth now makes her living teaching leadership at Royal Roads University and operating a retail store focussed on one of her non-political passions - gardening.


Clark Roberts - A lawyer practising in Victoria with the law firm of Gowling Lafleur Henderson.  Prior to going into private practice, Mr. Roberts acted as general counsel to the BC Liberal Party while they were in opposition.  Mr. Roberts has a B.A. from Simon Fraser University and a law degree from McGill University.  He is married to Jacqueline Beltgens, with two young children.
