Birth control for dogs

Help is on the way to bring the exploding dog populations in Sheshatshiu and Natuashish under control.  Teams from a group called "Dogs With No Names" will put the Labrador dogs on "the pill." Dogs With No Names was started by veterinarian Judith Samson-French.  Ted reached her in her office in Bragg Creek, Alberta.

Men at Lunch - A film based on the famous photograph of New York Steel workers

It is an iconic photograph.  11 men, stopping to eat their lunch on an ordinary Tuesday... Tuesday, Sept 20, 1932.  The men are lined up like birds on the iron beam of an under-construction skyscraper high over the streets of new york.

Eamonn Ó Cualáin (pronounced Amen Cullen) has made a film about the photograph and the men in it.  It's called Men at Lunch.  Eamonn speaks with host Ted Blades.
