Beady Eye

Yeah, he's in a new band; that pesky Gallagher brother Liam is in a 'new' band called Beady Eye (really just Oasis minus Noel - he and Liam got into a rhubarb and parted ways).  Wow, quelle surprise; Noel and Liam fighting.  Anyone else remember that EP from the 90s called Wibbling Rivalry?  It was a fantastic 14 minutes of poorly recorded audio:  one track of Noel lambasting Liam, the other of Liam verbally abusing Noel.  I'm sheepishly admitting that I owned it.

This time around, Liam has claimed that Beady Eye will be bigger than Oasis, slammed Radiohead, insulted Coldplay singer Chris Martin, said he's adored by millions...so really the same old Liam...

...and don't even think of requesting an Oasis song if you go to a Beady Eye show. They'll drown out any fan who wants to hear something like "Supersonic" or "Wonderwall".

Beady Eye's debut album Different Gear, Still Speeding came out today, and from it, I played "The Roller". 

Bigger than Oasis, hey?
