new Chase & Status!

So excited to have new music from Chase and Status today!  I've played them before on New Music Tuesday, at when talked about drum 'n' bass and played the Amen BreakChase and Status are an electronic production duo, and the song I played was a DnB song featuring artist/rapper/singer Plan B ("End Credits" from the Michael Caine movie Harry Brown).  Plan B's been nominated for three Brit Awards this year:  British Male Solo Artist, British Single, and Mastercard British Album of the Year.  I can see why.  His album The Defamation of Strickland Banks was probably my favourite album of 2010 (and his song "Free" I declared as my summer 2010 song).

ANY-way...today's Chase and Status track features one of the biggest rappers in the UK right now:  Tinie TempahTT's leads this year's Brit Awards nominations with four:  British Male Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, British Single, and Mastercard British Album of the Year.  Whew!

I've been cranking this track for the past few days:  Chase and Status "Hitz" featuring Tinie Tempah.  Thunderous, monstrous...and sick bass.  It's on their album No More Idols, out on January 31st (that's a UK release date, so who knows when it'll drop here...but I'll be waiting, and rather impatiently, too).
