Killarney Secondary Musicians Inspired by Students in Paraguay playing on recycled instruments

Killarney music teacher Nicholas Urquhart showed his honours strings class the documentary "Landfill Harmonic" and it left a deep mark on the students. Nicholas, the students and other musicians in Vancouver have started the Instruments for Change program which has collected more than 200 instruments to donate to the young musicians of the Recycled Orchestra. CBC producer Jennifer Chen went to visit the class as they were preparing a video message to send to Paraguay.

You can still donate instruments at Prussin Music on West Broadway in Vancouver.
