Surrey joggers latest to be hit in string of vehicular accidents

Two women were struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 152nd street and 32nd avenue in Surrey while jogging on Monday night. The incident was the latest in a string of accidents that has marred Metro Vancouver over the past two weeks. Pedestrian Advocate Bev Ballantyne says drivers, police and local governments are all to blame for dangerous streets.
