90-Year-Old HBC Documentary Provides Insight into Canadian North
Back in 1920 the Hudson Bay Company made a silent documentary about the Canadian North in honour of its 250th anniversary. Shortly after its release the film was stored in archives and forgotten for the next half-century. Canadian historian Peter Geller tracked it down and is now screening it across the country.
