2012 London Olympics Marks the 40th Anniversary of the Munich Massacre

In 1972 11 Israeli Olympic athletes and coaches were taken hostage and eventually killed by the Palestinian terrorist group Black September. International calls have asked for a minute of silence during the opening ceremony to honor the victims. The International Olympics Committee continues to reject the calls. We spoke to a Vancouver athlete who competed in the Munich Olympics.
