New Komagata Maru Monument in Vancouver

98 years ago today Canadian officials ordered a ship carrying 356 passengers to turn around and return to India.  It became known as the Komagata Maru incident.  And earlier this afternoon a monument commemorating the event was unveiled in Coal Harbour.  We spoke to one of the creators of the monument.
