The Democratization of Burma

Today in Burma opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi was sworn into parliament. She had been a political prisoner for more than 20 years until her release in late 2010. Vancouver resident Sai On Nammao is orginally from Burma. He hopes that this is the first step to true democracy in the Southeast Asian nation.
