Afghan Cricket Film

Earlier this week, Vancouver filmmaker Leslie Knott won "Best Newcomer Documentary" at the British Film Institute Society's prestigious Grierson awards. She told us about her film "Out of the Ashes" which followed the Afghan cricket team on their quest to qualify for the Cricket World Cup.
